COVID-19 made a huge impact on our world. We lost loved ones, jobs, our mental health declined, and our frontline workers are spread thin. It's a difficult time for us all. I decided to get out and spread joy where I could in a time of uncertainty. I spent a lot of my time on tik-tok during the great 2020 quarantine and I saw a photographer do "porch portraits" for some people in his neighborhood. So I made a post on Nextdoor, grabbed my camera, and ventured off to take some porch portraits for my neighbors, free of charge. Some were engaged, some just finished remodeling their house, and some just wanted some good family photos since they hadn't taken any in a while. It was a great experience and a good way for me to stay creative during this time.
